Quran and Etrat Online University offers its condolences to all Muslims, upon the arrival of 20th of Safar, Arba’een (Forty days after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (PBUH)), the time to renew allegiance to the master of the martyrs, and the time to visit the Imam of the lovers.
On the eve of Arba’een, it is our great pleasure to announce that a live lecture is scheduled to be delivered by the great scholar and lecturer, Dr.Omid Fatemi.
Dr.Omid Fatemi has finished his high school in an Islamic school in the field of Mathematics with highest grades and entered in the university with the best rank among more than 80000 participants.
During his study in university in the field of Electrical Engineering, he participated in Islamic courses of Fiqh, Osool, Logic, Philosophy, in Islamic seminary.
He received his B.Sc, M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1989, 1991 and 1999 from University of Tehran, University of Tehran and University of Ottawa.
Dr Fatemi is the co-founder of Quran and Etrat Online University.
After completing his study in Canada, he spent several years to study Arabic and Islamic sciences in Iran.
He has taught several Islamic courses like Shia Traditions, Quran Reading and Vocabulary and gave more than 50 online lectures.
Apart from his Islamic studies, he still works full time as a faculty member in University of Tehran.
