Aim of Course:
Aim of this course is to get familiar with; What is history and how can we study it? And to discuss the history of Islam by investigating some important factors that prepared the essential background for the spread of Islam, and furthermore it can evaluate all the factors which in any way helped or hurt the spread of Islam.

- Polytheism and its characteristics in the Arabian Peninsula
- Other kind of polytheism in the Arabian Peninsula
- The religion of the pre-Islam Bedouin Arabs
- The Jews in the Arabian peninsula
- Christianity in Arabian Peninsula
- Culture and science in the Arabian peninsula.
Evaluation is done based on students activities , for example :
1- Multiple choice and /orWritten quizzes at the end of each lesson,
2- Midterm exam after 6 lessons.
3- Final Exam after 10lessons, including Multiple choice quiz (At the end of the course, students will be tested and those who succeed in obtaining 60% of the test score will be awarded a certificate.
Number of lessons: 10lessons.
