Goal of Course : This course is an accelerated introduction to the morphology and syntax of Modern Standard and Classical Arabic with an emphasis on the development of reading comprehension skills. This will include an overview of all the basic grammatical structures of Arabic. Students will learn essential noun declensions (i‘raab) as well as the various conjugations of regular verbs. Also, this course will be doubling as an intensive review of core vocabulary. Therefore, in addition to a grammatical overview, students will be responsible for learning and retaining the most commonly used words in Arabic.

Evaluation is done based on students activities , for example :
 1- Multiple choice and /orWritten quizzes at the end of each lesson, 
 2- Midterm exam after 6 lessons.
 3- Final Exam after 13lessons, including  Multiple choice quiz (At the end of the course, students will be tested and those who succeed in obtaining 60% of the test score will be awarded a certificate.
