 Taking the Opportunity

The Great Prophet (PBUH&HP) took every opportunity for the guidance of the people. Especially after his appointment by the Creator he felt a heavy duty.

And his method of guiding was training of the people with kind words and explaining to them the truths of religion.

The following is an example of his ways of taking every opportunity with exceptional presentation:

The youngsters had gathered for contest and weightlifting. A big stone was set as the measure for power and bravery of the young contesters. The Great Prophet (PBUH&HP) approached and asked: “What are you doing?”

The youngsters: “We are competing in order to find out who is the strongest among us.”

The Great Prophet (PBUH&HP): “Would you like me to tell you who is the strongest?”

The youngsters: “Of course. It is a great honor if the Prophet of Allah (PBUH&HP) is the referee, and if he grants the medal.”

The crowd were waiting anxiously for the announcement of the winner by the Great Prophet (PBUH&HP). Some of them were waiting for their name to be announced as the winner of the contest.

The Great Prophet (PBUH&HP) said: “the strongest and the most powerful is the one who he gets attracted to a thing, his passion does not extract him from the track of righteousness and humanity into griminess. And if a sudden burst of anger flams his spirit, he remains temperate and does not speak but the truth, and never uses bad language or false words. And if he turned into a prominent figure and the obstacles are removed against him, he does not want more than his limit.”1
